How Line Items Are Counted
To estimate your cost, we count the number of line items across the following data types:
- Products: Each variant (e.g., size or color) counts as one line item. A single product with multiple variants will count as several line items.
Example: A T-shirt available in 5 sizes = 5 line items. - Customers: Each individual customer is counted as one line item.
- Sales: Each unique product sold in a transaction counts as one line item, regardless of quantity.
Example: A sale with 4 of the same T-shirt and 3 of the same shoes = 2 line items - Gift Cards: Each issued gift card is counted as one line item.
