LINK’s Acceptable Use Policy

You must do the following:

  1. Run and use the Service only on the hardware for which it was intended to operate, when applicable;
  2. Treat the Service as confidential information;
  3. Use the Service only pursuant to the terms (such as a limited number of locations or Devices) that You purchased the subscription for and/or may be specified on Your Invoice.
  4. Abide by the export control and economic sanctions laws of the United States, the European Union, and other applicable jurisdictions. Under these laws, the Service must not be used, sold, leased, exported, imported, re-exported or transferred except in compliance with such laws, including, without limitation, export licensing requirements, end user, end-use and end-destination restrictions, prohibitions on dealings with sanctioned individuals and entities, including but not limited to persons on the Office of Foreign Assets Control’s Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List, or the U.S. Department of Commerce Denied Persons List. You represent and warrant that You are not the subject or target of, and that You are not located in a country or territory (including without limitation, North Korea, Cuba, Iran, Syria, and Crimea) that is the subject or target of economic sanctions of the United States, European Union, or other applicable jurisdictions; and
  5. Comply with all Third-Party Terms.

Except as otherwise permitted by this Agreement or by mandatory law, You must not, and must not allow, the following:

  1. Modify or remove any proprietary notices or markings on or in the Service;
  2. Transfer License to any other person or entity;
  3. Operate counterfeit versions of the Service (i.e., software provided by anyone other than LINK) on any hardware;
  4. Violate or circumvent any technological use restrictions in the Service;
  5. Access the Service in order to (A) build a competitive product or service, or (B) copy any ideas, features, functions, or graphics of the Service;
  6. Sell, loan, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute or encumber (e.g., by lien, security interest, etc.) the Service;
  7. Use any trademarks or service marks of LINK, its affiliates, or suppliers;
  8. Provide access to the Service or allow use by any third party, other than permitted Third Parties, without LINK’s prior written consent;
  9. Copy, republish, upload, post or transmit the Service in any way;
  10. Modify or create derivative works based upon the Service, or decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to derive source code from the Service, in whole or in part. If You are purchasing the licensed right of use for the Service with an intent to reverse engineer, decompile, or illegally transfer any intellectual property, trade secrets, including any exposed methods or source code where provided, no right of use shall exist, and any products created as a result shall be judged illegal by definition of all applicable law. Any sale or resale of intellectual property or created derivatives so obtained will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of all local, national, and international law.
  11. Attack or attempt to undermine the security, integrity, authentication or intended operation of the Service;
  12. Create or permit others to create Internet “links” to the Service or “frame” or “mirror” the Service on any other server, wireless or Internet-based device;
  13. Use the Service for high-risk activities, including without limitation online control systems, or use in hazardous environments requiring fail-safe performance, such as in the operation of nuclear facilities, aircraft navigation or communications systems, air traffic control, life support, weapons systems or in any other device or system in which function or malfunction of the Service could result in death, personal injury or physical or environmental damage;
  14. Use the Service for activities related to weapons of mass destruction, including but not limited to, activities related to the design, development, production or use of nuclear materials, nuclear facilities, nuclear weapons, missiles, or support of missile projects, or chemical or biological weapons; and
  15. Use the Service in connection with spam. You may not use information from the Service (whether scraped, collected through the API, or obtained otherwise) for spamming purposes, including for the purposes of sending unsolicited emails to users or selling personal information, such as to recruiters, headhunters, and job boards.
